We did lots of fun exciting activities. We made Space biscuits, produced astronaut passports and even made alien masks!

All the children really enjoyed the day.

We took off from St Helens playground and landed on an unknown planet.

We had to all be careful just incase there was any life on the planet. Thankfully we managed to get under shelter (in the classroom!)

We are thoroughly enjoying learning about space and we have been trying to think about how Neil Armstrong felt when he stepped on the moon.

We cant wait to share all the exciting facts we have learnt in our sharing assembly in school after half term!

Christmas Card Project

The PTA is particularly pleased that there was terrific participation in this project and we are delighted that this project has raised a fantastic £231 for PTA funds. A reminder that this money will contribute towards the outdoor play facilities and equipment for the school. We look forward to receiving the cards in early November. Thanks to everyone who helped with this project and especially the children for their fantastic artwork!

Welcome to St Helen’s!

A special welcome to all our new families and their children and it is good to have our returning families with us again! A shame about the weather, but I hope you all had a lovely holiday and enjoyed spending the summer with your children. It is good to be back after the long break; the staff are ready for the new school year and looking forward to an exciting learning journey with the children. We have been developing our curriculum which I am confident the children will enjoy and we will let you know more about this in the future.
